  • Summer check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm.

Property Access

  • No parking restrictions. Large yard with room for boat trailers and no HOA restrictions.
  • Boardwalk with bench seating.
  • Two stairwells to property level; two-story home on pilings.
  • During tidal events, it may be necessary to approach the house by car on Carolina Beach Ave N to Virginia Avenue. Vehicles should be left at the top of the driveway during tidal events.
  • Exterior cameras are focused on the driveway and at the docks to monitor the bait pens.

Dock and Boat Slip Access

  • Slip 1: Your rent covers one boat dock on the outside edge of the dock: one side tie-up, oversized floating dock that can accommodate larger center consoles with no beam restrictions. Dock fenders, 4 cleats, two pilings. Approximately 6 feet in depth.
  • Slip 2: Inside slip with one side tie-up. 10' beam, 6' depth. 5 cleats.
  • Slip 3: Suitable for 2-3 dinghies or kayaks, approximately 3' depth. 3 cleats are available for visiting dinghies.
  • Two other slips are reserved for owner use only, including a private boat and tournament fishing bait pens. The owner's fishing team will access the dock briefly and intermittently, typically 2–3 times a week for tournament preparations.
  • Fresh water hose wash-down. There is no shore power on the dock.

Flood and Tidal Event Information

  • The following ground-level areas are subject to flooding during tidal events. Care should be taken with valuables:
    • Extra lift-up garage door storage suitable for SUP, kayaks, canoes, and fishing gear
    • Fisherman's mud room
    • Wash-down sink suitable for boots, reels, filling buckets
    • Fisherman's bathroom with shower stall, toilet, sink
    • Sump pump
    • Exterior receptacles under the house
    • Exterior lights

  • A valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation.
  • A signed rental agreement is required. Accepting house rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of the rental agreement.
  • The first dog is included in the rental price. Additional dogs are subject to additional payment and restrictions. Dogs only unless otherwise detailed in listing.

Carolina and Kure Beaches are pet-friendly but you must follow town guidelines. Please check the town website for beach pet restrictions.
  • Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking.
  • After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation debit.
  • After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, no refund will be processed unless the dates are re-rented. If re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation debit.
